This website is operated by YORU (“YORU”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting yorubeauty.com or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them.

1. Who we are

YORU is a curated Korean skincare retailer based in California, United States.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method presented.

3. Products, pricing, and availability

All products are authentic and sourced through authorized channels. We work to display colors, textures, and packaging accurately, but your screen may render them differently, and manufacturers occasionally update formulas or packaging without notice.

All prices are in US dollars (USD) unless another currency is selected, and are subject to change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information because of a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, even after the order is confirmed.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse any order, or discontinue any product at any time.

4. Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. Payment is captured at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. We may cancel any order we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent or to be placed for resale.

5. Shipping and delivery

Processing takes 1–2 business days. US delivery typically takes 7–14 business days after dispatch. Free standard shipping applies to US orders over $50. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not liable for carrier delays, weather, or customs handling outside our control.

6. International orders, duties, and taxes

For orders shipped outside the United States, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees charged by your country. These are not included in our prices and are not refundable by us. If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs, we cannot issue a refund.

8. Skincare is not medical advice

Everything on this site — product descriptions, ingredient explanations, routines, and blog content — is for general information only. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Results vary from person to person. Always patch test a new product, read the manufacturer's ingredient list, and consult a dermatologist or physician if you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription treatments, or have a known skin condition or allergy. Discontinue use and seek advice if irritation occurs.

9. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The YORU name, logo, site design, photography, and written content are our property or are licensed to us, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission. Third-party brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

11. Your content

If you send us reviews, photos, comments, or other submissions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, and publish them in connection with YORU. You confirm your submission is your own and does not infringe anyone's rights. We may remove any submission at our discretion and are under no obligation to publish or keep any submission.

12. Prohibited use

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe anyone's rights, to transmit malicious code, to interfere with the security or operation of the site, or to collect personal data of other users.

13. Third-party links and services

Our site may link to or rely on third-party services (payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics, email). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YORU is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or any product. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YORU and its officers, employees, and suppliers from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Nothing here limits your non-waivable rights as a consumer.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Changes take effect when posted. The terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
