YORU means night. 夜

We took a Japanese word for a Korean skincare shop on purpose. The products are Korean — every single one, sourced from Korea. But the idea is the night itself: the few quiet hours when you are not being useful to anyone, and your skin is doing its most important work. That deserved its own name.

Why we exist

The best K-beauty products deserve to be found. Not the trendiest ones. Not the ones with the biggest influencer budget. The ones that actually work — formulated with decades of Korean skincare science, dispensed in Korean clinics and pharmacies, and trusted across Asia long before the rest of the world caught on.

There are marketplaces that will sell you ten thousand Korean products. We are not trying to be one. We carry fewer than twenty, and every one of them earned its place.

The philosophy

Skin repairs itself on a circadian rhythm. Cell turnover and barrier repair are most active while you sleep, which is why the products you apply at night matter more than the ones you rush through in the morning. YORU exists to help you make those hours count — with a routine short enough that you will actually do it.

We check our prices against the major K-beauty retailers and keep them in line. No inflated “luxury” markup for the same bottle you can find elsewhere, and no fake original price crossed out to manufacture a bargain. When we show a compare-at price, it is the brand's list price or what the product actually sells for at other retailers.
